Still a fantastic place for dinner on the hill. Took my youngest daughter was dinner- best tiramisu she's has ever had. Great service as always.

I went here in December for my anniversary dinner and it was amazing; the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays, which added to the romantic ambiance. For drinks, we enjoyed glasses of Sauvignon Blanc off of their extensive wine list. For dinner, the Zuppa de Pesce and the Capesante alla Giovanni were both delicious; the servings were very large which allowed for leftovers as well. Lastly, we had chocolate raspberry cake for dessert, and our waiter kindly sneaked in an extra slice for the special occasion. Overall, service was excellent and I would definitely come again.

Starting with the valet, he was attentive and super friendly and speedy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect. Our waiter was friendly and very funny! Not only did we enjoy our meal and drinks, but the service was outstanding. Hands down the best Crème Brûlée we've ever had. Drinks were great. The bread was okay, kind of dry, but we aren't big bread people. Started with the wedge salad and the waiter split it for us due to big portion sizes and it was the perfect amount, and incredible. Highly recommend. We both ordered the one of the specials and they were delicious. Portions were huge, so we took a lot home. They didn't tell us the price of the specials and we didn't ask, but that didn't bother us considering how much food we got. Can't wait to return! Such a great experience.

A true Rhode Island staple. This is absolutely amazing & authentic Italian food. It's truly a tartare of Italy. I grew up in Rhode Island & this was the place to go & still is. It's a must stop for every visit back to RI. The service was great & friendly. The ambiance & atmosphere was romantic & peaceful to enjoy the experience & evening.

Last night we went to Camille's with friends and we had a really good dining experience. The restaurant is an upscale (dressy casual) Italian tradition on the Hill in Providence. Our waiter was very polite and he helped us with separate checks. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, which were of good size, the lasagna dish was probably at least 2 lbs while the Bolognese came in a huge bowl full of pasta and delicious sauce. Several boxes were needed to take food home at the end of dinner..... I got the grilled salmon and it was prepared very well over risotto. My husband got the Pollo a la Francese and he loved his meal. The only disappointment was that I was interested in one of the specials (which when the waiter recites them, he does not tell you the price of them...I had to specifically ask for the price of the Sea Bass)...initially he said the Bass was served over a risotto...so when it was time to order, I asked him to describe the Bass special again and now he said, it's over mashed potatoes...I said...I don't want mashed potatoes, so instead of saying that he could ask to change the bed of starch, he did not. That inflexibility was not great.... Overall the meal was filling and delicious.

My wife and I came here for date night. Definitely old school Italian. We were seated promptly and the service was pleasant. We ordered a few apps, arincini balls, and fried cheese. They both came out Luke warm and not hot. Disappointing. My wife ordered the meon chicken. It was delicious. I ordered the veal rib chop and was able to get the coconut lime risotto which was on the specials menu. The veal was a bit dry and overcooked, but the risotto was fantastic! Overall a good experience, nothing mind-blowing which is what I was hoping for.

Perfect restaurant for any special occasion. We started with the baccala and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. They do a good job of balancing the cold cod with lettuce, onions, olives, and a light dressing. I was expecting the cod to be heavily salted, but it wasn't. I ordered the bone in veal parm ($50) and it came with a side of pasta. It was huge and was cooked perfectly. I had to take home half of it because it was so filling. The sauce was very good and the cheese was top notch. The service here is amazing. The waiter was super knowledgeable and my water glass was never empty. They have a great selection of wine by the glass and the waiter was able to pair our meals perfectly. Camille's has been a staple on Federal Hill and it still lives up to its reputation. Very classy setting.

We visited Camille's for dinner recently and were very impressed with both the food and the atmosphere. The ambiance is both inviting and elegant, with blown glass light fixtures and a chic, upper-crust feel. Everything we ordered that evening was delicious!  The octopus appetizer we shared was nicely plated and very tasty; our entrees (Chicken Saltimbuca and meatball with ricotta) where so exquisite that we almost polished the plates clean ;-) Service was first-tier as well; our waiter was very personable and knowledgeable about their menu - I highly recommend Camille's to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!
